Ipsos AppLife is a research application designed to facilitate direct interaction between researchers and participants. Through this platform, researchers can engage participants via chat, pose questions, assign tasks, and respond to submitted answers. Participation in the studies requires an invitation that includes a unique login and password.

Functioning within a secure web environment, Ipsos AppLife enables qualitative research by allowing the creation of projects where participants and observers can be invited and results analyzed. This closed setting ensures confidentiality and focused feedback.

Participants are encouraged to provide diverse types of responses, including text messages, annotated photos, and videos, both with and without commentary. The app also supports the establishment of research communities, where participants can interact with one another’s postings. Reactions initiated by moderators are visually distinguished, allowing for clear communication throughout the research process.
